New Haven Food Resource Guide

Updates from United Way

Updates
New Haven Food Resource Guide
I am excited to share that the New Haven Food Resource Guide has finally been completed.

This resource guide has been a project of CARE through their work with the REACH grant and with support from the Food Access Working Group (FAWG) and CT Food Bank.
Community Research Fellowship
CARE’s Community Research Fellowship is currently accepting applications for the 2019-2020 cohort. This is a great opportunity for those who are interested in learning about health research and helping to inform local research being conducted at Yale so that it is inclusive of the New Haven community voice.

Please share the following information with all potential and interested applicants within your group/organization:
  • All interested applicants should address how they meet program requirements within the statement of purpose.
  • Complete applications should include all application materials: complete application,  statement of purpose, and references.
  • The closing date for the applications is October 11th, 2019 and selections for interviewing will be made by October 19th, 2019.
  • Applicants will be contacted via phone or e-mail if they are selected for a formal interview.
  • Stipend for accepted fellows is $200/month (November 2019 – June 2020)!
If there are any other questions, applicants can contact Sharon Taylor by  phone (203-640-6557) or email at (TaylorS16@southernct.edu).
