We are happy to announce that we have added links to resources and a new e-mail feature that may be helpful as you help people secure housing and services to remain housed.
1. Under Resources for People Experiencing Homelessness, we have added a link to the 2-1-1 Re-entry Guide.
2. We have added a section dedicated to Elderly Housing Programs. As the people you serve are approaching 62 years of age, they may be eligible for other subsidized housing in the area.
3. If you have a question, comment or resource that you would like to ask or share, you may submit an e-mail to us. You will need only to click on the orange envelope that is sealed with the letter "e" and compose your note.

Shelter Plus Care 2 BR Unit - Accepting Applications
The New Haven Shelter Plus Care program has filled the current opening for a chronically homeless 2-BR unit. We are continuing to accept applications for families needing a 3-BR unit whose head of household is chronically homeless. See blog posting dated April 24, 2013 for more detailed information.
