Portland Housing Authority Pre-Application Opens July 8, 2019 8:30 AM Closes July 19, 2019 1:30 PM

Wait List Elderly and Young Disabled Low Income Housing

The Housing Authority of the Town of Portland will be closing the Low-Income Public Housing 
Waitlist on July 1,2019. It then will reopen and will be accepting pre- applications for the Low-Income
Public Housing waiting list for the following properties Chatham Court and Quarry Heights. 
The Portland Housing Authority will open the waitlist for qualified households on July 8, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. 
and will close the waiting list on July 19, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. Total household income cannot exceed the 
income limit for each household size. 
Chatham Court:  Low Income Housing Project - 2,3, and 4 Bedroom
Quarry Heights:  Young Disabled and 62 and older Project: 1 Bedroom ONLY - 1 or 2 residents
This is not Section 8. The Housing Choice Voucher Program is currently closed at this time. 
Pre-applications will be available for download and printing at www. Portlandha.org. After the 
pre-application is downloaded and printed, they can be mailed to the mailing address shown below. 
Pre-application can also be picked up in person at 9 Chatham Court, Portland, CT 06480 during business 
hours (M/T/Th 8:30am-4:30pm, Wed. 8:30am-12:00pm, Fri. 8:30am-1:30pm). Applicants will be considered
ineligible if a family does not meet the income, property eligibility requirements or if the application is not 
completed in its entirety. 
Pre-applications must be completed in full to be accepted. Only one pre-application per household will
 be considered. All Pre-applications must be received either in person or mailed and post marked by 
July 19, 2019.

PUBLIC NOTICEDERBY HOUSING AUTHORITY HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER (HCV) PROGRAM/SECTION8 WAITING LIST TO OPEN JULY 3, 2019.

On July 3, 2019, the Derby Housing Authority, of the City of Derby, Connecticut will open the waiting list for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program, which includes tenant-based voucher applications. 
The HCV Program is funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to assist low-income families with rental payments through the Section 8 Program. The Pre-application form will be available online ONLY at www.derbyhousing.com beginning at 9:00 a.m. on July 3, 2019, and will close once the application limit is reached. 

There will be no paper applications, and applications will not be available or accepted at the Derby Housing Authority office. All applicants must meet Derby Housing Authoritys eligibility restrictions according to the Housing Choice Voucher Program Administrative Plan.
Once the application period has ended the Derby Housing Authority will place the first five hundred applicants on the waitlist, according to the date and time of the application submission, as well as any applicable preferences selected.

Bethel 62+ and/or disabled 6/1/19-7/1/19 Site based


ANNOUNCEMENT
The Housing Authority of the Town of Bethel
BETHEL, CONNECTICUT
The Housing Authority of the Town of Bethel (BHA) will be accepting  pre applications for the site based elderly and disabled waiting list for low-income project No. E 133 and Affordable Housing Project No. E 166.
Applications must be postmarked between no earlier June 1, 2019 and no later that July 1, 2019.
OPENING DATE: Saturday, June 1, 2019
CLOSING DATE: Monday, July 1, 2019
The BHA accepts Applications for elderly heads of household aged 62+ and persons who are disabled. Occupancy is limited a maximum of two persons per unit.
Income limits for E 166 are:
$63,448.00 for a family of one and
$72,512.00 for a family of two.
Applications will be available Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the BHA office located at 25 Reynolds Ridge, Bethel, Connecticut or you may download the application from the BHA website www.bethelhousingauthority.org

NOTE: The BHA reserves the right to limit the number of pre-applications it accepts when it cannot reasonably accommodate applicants within 24-months. The actual wait time could be longer. There will be no formal notice given if any portion closes and applications will be returned.
Applications will be rejected if a family does not meet the income, property eligibility requirements or if the application is not completed in its entirety with all the required attachments. One application per family or household will be accepted for each housing project.
Minorities and those least likely to apply are encouraged to apply.
