The Housing Authority of the City
of Meriden (HACM) will be accepting Section 8 Project Based applications for
Yale Acres. This program provides project based rental assistance for 1, 2 and
3 bedroom units at the following location:

Meriden,
CT 06450
When: The open enrollment period will be from Tuesday, June 9, 2020
at 9:00 a.m. to Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. ET. Only one
pre-application per family will be accepted. Duplicate applications will be
rejected. If you need assistance in another language, Google Translate will
assist you during the application process.
Where: Pre-applications can be submitted online at https://www.waitlistcheck.com/CT28331385 with the use of a
personal computer, laptop, smart phone, and tablet.
Reasonable Accommodation: It is the policy of the MHA to provide
reasonable accommodations to those persons with disabilities so that they can
participate equally in its housing programs. To request a reasonable

Information required: Names, address, social security numbers,
birthdates and income information for everyone in the household.
Maximum Income Limits: Income limits are current and subject to
change.

Applicants must meet all HACM and
Yale Acres income and eligibility requirements.
Lottery Process: The waiting list placement will be based on a
computerized random selection (lottery process). Once the wait list open enrollment
period ends, 500 pre-applications
will be selected to be on the wait list.
Only
those randomly selected will be notified of placement on the waiting list. Submission of a
pre-application does not guarantee placement on the Wait List, eligibility, or
a unit offer.
HACM will post the status information on
www.hmsforweb.com/owl/login.php Applicants may verify if they were selected.

November 18, 2019 until November 22, 2019. We will be accepting applications for 2-bedroom units only.
The Pre-application will be available beginning on November 18, 2019 on our website, https://www.bristolhousing.org or you may pick up a pre-application in person at our main office at 164 Jerome Avenue Bristol, CT 06010.

Pre-Application post marked before November 18, 2019 or after November 22, 2019 will not be accepted.Pre-applications must contain accurate and complete information. Hand-delivered, faxed or emailed pre-applications will not be accepted. Only 1 pre-application per post-marked envelope will be accepted. Duplicate, incomplete or illegible applications will not be accepted.100 pre-applications will be drawn at random on December 16, 2019.
Applicants will be notified by December 31, 2019 by mail.

and Friday 8:30 am-2:00 pm
Applicants already on waiting list for other housing programs must apply separately for Zbikowski Park, such applicants will not lose their place on other waiting lists when they apply for a RAP unit.
